Ducks!

Our ducks came in the mail today!  David called me from school and said, "Our ducks are here!  They need to be picked up at the Post Office!"  I said quickly, "I'll do it!!!"  Well turns out that both of us went excitedly to the PO to claim our little ducklings.  They are soooooo cute!  We drove way out to Petersons to get them food and they just quietly chirped in the seat next to sleeping Ben.  We were so anxious to get them out of the box that I didn't get to snap a picture of them in the box but this is what the box looks like!  

Kinda sad huh.  But just know that ducks like to cuddle and they must be pretty careful with them because they came all the way from California and they all survived!  

We did some last minute things to the hutch and then released them!  Again, soooooo cute!!  

The two cute little yellow ones with be white when they grow up! Ah!  The rest will be the pretty brown.  

I think they will like their new home don't you?  And they have no idea what's out that hutch door!  A whole big world and pond for them to explore!  Yay!  And I can just taste the yummy duck eggs that will come in about 5 months! 

Welcome duckies!.....now just to name them.....hmmmmm....  any suggestions??
